Jaisha Evans, LAMFT
There are several aspects of life that influence your wellbeing, and nobody knows what those are, better than you. I would love to help you on your path as you seek to find healing, feel hope, learn more about yourself, develop more meaningful relationships, or just find more happiness and satisfaction in your life. Many problems that people face are situations that they feel are outside of their control. These situations can cause deep despair and hopelessness. One of my goals in therapy is to help you feel more empowered and in control of your life again. I hope to help you embrace your full potential and harness the qualities you already possess inside you.
I look forward to helping you work through difficult life circumstances such as addiction, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, eating disorders and body image issues, ADHD, autism, and other developmental disorders. I have a deep passion for vulnerability, empathy and connection and would love to help you develop deeper connections with those you love. I also enjoy working with children and utilize tools of play therapy as well as Gottman’s emotional intelligence to help children and parents feel heard and valued, and develop better emotional regulation.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Utah State University as well as my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. Obtaining my Bachelor’s degree all while parenting young children and going through various life trials, has allowed me find my passion and develop a better understanding of some of the challenges families face. My husband and I have been married for nearly ten years and have three children. Together we enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors with our two dogs. They have all helped me through this journey and are part of the reason I was led to this field. I am learning on this journey right alongside you!
