I love the statement, “The heart is at the heart of the matter.” I believe that behind our beliefs, emotions, and behavior are our hearts or the connections with the people in our lives that matter the most to us. Connections can serve as both outside motivators for change and, more lastingly, as a safe support base while making inner changes. I believe that change is possible for everyone. I approach each client optimistically, recognizing the potential for growth and healing even in the most challenging circumstances. I view therapy as a collaborative journey where I guide and support individuals of any age, couples, and families on their path to positive change.

I have been closely connected to the Marriage and Family Therapy field for over 30 years. Throughout that time, I have consistently pursued a holistic approach to well-being, recognizing the intricate interplay between mental, emotional, and physical health and the systems and relationships we are a part of. I bring a unique blend of therapeutic understanding and outdoor experience to my practice. As a hiking guide for a nationally renowned fitness resort, I’ve spent years leading individuals and groups through the beautiful red mountains of this area. I have seen the power of change in the lives of guests who have faced fears, overcome challenges, and created balance. The lessons I’ve learned on the trail have seamlessly blended into my therapeutic philosophy, emphasizing the importance of fresh perspectives, inner strength, and the impact movement and the outdoors can have on personal growth.

My husband and I have been married for 33 years and are parents to 4 children, four sons-in-law, one granddaughter, and a dog. My family is my heart; they are behind the most significant growth and positive changes in my life.

I would love to connect with you and provide a safe base for guidance and support as you make your own changes. Please reach out if you have any questions.
