Sarah Hyatt, ACMHC
I’ve dedicated my life to helping people through some of their hardest moments. My journey to becoming a therapist started long before my formal training—it’s rooted in my own experiences and my desire to truly understand what makes us feel stuck, lost, or overwhelmed. I have worked in academic settings with children and their families providing behavior modification and support. Working in these environments has allowed me to connect deeply with people from all walks of life. These experiences have helped me understand the importance of connection and the power of human relationships.
What makes me different as a therapist is the way I tailor therapy to fit you—not the other way around. My focus is to help you feel empowered and in control of your journey. While I am trained to work with children, teens, and adults, my primary emphasis is in the areas of trauma, addiction, and behavior modification. I use a diverse toolkit that includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am also a Certified Prime for Life Instructor.
If you’re ready to take that step towards healing, I’m here to support you. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation.
