Life tends to have a way of throwing us a few more curve balls than we’d like. I love helping clients gain the tools and understanding they need to make navigating through this crazy life less overwhelming. Sometimes when life gets to be too much our brains try to help us out by sending danger signals. These signals can come in many different forms, including physical pain, anxiety, depression, obsessive thoughts, and much more. Unfortunately, these danger signals can make things even harder.

The good news is that our brains can “unlearn” these danger signals and develop more helpful ways of managing life. I love helping clients heal their minds and bodies through approaches such as Lifespan Integration, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Therapy.

During my first years of college, I taught yoga as well as worked at a Residential Treatment Center for adolescents. Throughout that time I started recognizing how trauma can get stuck in our bodies and how movement can help clients work through difficult things.  I am now able to offer a hybrid approach to healing that involves movement in the therapeutic process.  Although it is never a requirement, I find it to be an incredible addition to those that have felt stuck in more traditional therapy approaches.

I feel extremely blessed to be a part of the healing process for individuals, couples, and families. I know it can be intimidating to start therapy, so please reach out if you have any questions or would be interested in a free phone consultation.
